CILICIA. Soloi. Circa 410-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 9.91 g, 6 h), Mos..., magistrate. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΣΟΛEΩN Bunch of grapes on stalk with two tendrils and a small vine leaf; to left, rose above MOΣ; to right, owl standing right, head facing. Casabonne type 7. Obolos 4 (2016), 393 (same dies). SNG Levante 51 var. (no rose). SNG Paris -, cf. 178 (differing magistrate name). Lightly toned and beautifully struck. Slightly porous, otherwise, extremely fine.
